The University of Kent have announced Space Week 2025, a 5-day summer event designed to ignite young people’s passion for Space Science. This event will take participants on an exciting mission to Mars, where successful applicants will be grouped into mission teams and work through a mission life cycle within a condensed and engaging framework. Participants will explore key aspects of a space mission, taking part in hands-on activities. Space Week 2025 aims to provide opportunities for young people who are traditionally underrepresented in STEM at university, offering them valuable experience and guidance for their future applications.

When: 6th – 10th August 2025 

Where: University of Kent, Canterbury

Who: Children aged 14-17 (no prior experience required to participate)
