River Parish Council acts as a statutory consultee for the Local Planning Authority, Dover District Council and receives notification of all planning applications submitted within River.
Planning applications are discussed either at the full monthly parish council meeting or at specially convened meetings of a Planning sub-committee. Any comments are then submitted to the Local Planning Authority and can be viewed on their website.
Planning Committee
The Planning Committee is chaired by Cllr. Beresford. All Parish Councillors are invited to attend if available. Members of the public are welcome to attend meetings of the Planning Committee. Agendas for meetings are published on the parish council’s noticeboard outside River Village Hall and on this website.
