The Events Committee is made up of Parish Councillors and co-opted members of the local community. It meets regularly throughout the year to organise the Summer Fete at the Recreation Ground. In 2022, this will be a combined event to celebrate Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
Taking place on Sunday 5th June 2022, during the official celebration weekend, will be the Summer Fete to be followed by an evening event with live music and a firework display.
Summer Fete
Due to Covid restrictions, the last Fete was in July 2019. So we are looking forward to a fabulous event this year. All the usual stalls, local organisations, displays and entertainments will be back. The events committee are now working on the final arrangements.
