INSPECTION OF RIVER DOUR
River Parish Council are currently considering making a funding application to The Environment Agency for viable habitat improvement and restoration scheme on the River Dour. In order to progress this application, Councillor Michael Innes will be conducting a ‘Walkover’ of the river accompanied by representatives from both The Environment Agency and The South East Rivers Trust.
The inspection will take place on Friday November 4th between 10am and 1pm. It will entail walking the river from the Crabble Hill Road bridge upstream through the Mill and kingston Close, Lower Road up to the boundary of Kearsney Abbey.
